About Us

Looking back at the Robinson family tree it reads as if we have been Master Butchers forever.

We trade as C Robinson & Sons, the C standing for Clement who was my Great Grandad, his dad William was sent by his dad Edward in Willenhall to set up a butchers shop in Princess Street in Chase Terrace in the 1860's to follow the coal mines.

Clement was given a piece of land in Boney Hay as a wedding present to start his own shop in 1890's this is still our home shop and is where our EEC approved abattoir is today. Clement had two son's Raymond and Eric and intern they had family with David & Eric being a son of each took on the business. David my dad and Eric my uncle are still in charge today and they opened another shop in Burntwood in the 1960's which is our second shop.

So as you can see we think we have the proper genes to be producing top quality meat with all the old traditions but with modern techniques.
